Apple's iPhone 4 was the most acquired phone in both the USA and the EU5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK) according to a February 23 report by analysts comScore.

The comScore report found that over the past year Apple's iPhone 4, the original model of which was released June 28, 2010, was the most acquired device in the United States and the EU5. Other Apple devices also occupied second and third place in the States and second place in the EU5.
While Apple is dominant in Europe and the USA, rivals Samsung could be cornering the Korean market, according to a January report by the Korea Herald which estimated that Samsung accounts for 53 percent of the Korean smartphone market.
