Jio Fiber offering 2 days of free calls, data to select users to make up for recent disruptions

Jio Fiber users had a pretty difficult time last week with their connections going down for hours last week. Twitter was flooded with complaints from across India with people complaining that their connections were down and they were also unable to get through to the call centre. Jio Fiber responded to these complaints online stating that services were down in certain areas and they were working on fixing it.

To make up for that outage, select Jio Fiber users are now receiving a free two-day benefit offering unlimited voice and data. This plan is being pushed out to users who faced issues with network last week

This two-day benefit is called Unlimited 2days by Reliance Jio and it gets added over your current plan allowing users to enjoy two-days of unlimited data and voice calls. 

The offer shows up as a text message confirming the activation of the new Unlimited 2days plan will be valid for two days only and comes with unlimited data, unlimited voice calls and access to premium OTT apps for those two days. This new two-day plan shows up under the MyPlans section on the MyJio app as well.

This plan pauses the use of your current billed plan for two days and does not use or deduct any data from the ongoing plan.

Jio has been doling out free benefits rather randomly lately. It recently rolled out free 2GB high speed data to prepaid plan subscribers randomly. The free benefit was pushed out to select users and was valid for four days.
