Samsung seems all set to bring its Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the Galaxy S21 smartphones in Janaury next year (next month). The upcoming earbuds are also being said to be the competitor to Apple's AirPods Pro. That's because Samsung's own app seems to have leaked some information about the upcoming earbuds that will feature “Spatial Audio”. In case you don't know, the “Spatial Audio” feature is also there in Apple's AirPods Pro and recently launched AirPods Pro Max headphones.

Leaked in Samsung's Galaxy Wearable app (via 9to5 Google), which the company uses to control several connected smartwatches and earbuds, the feature is said to come alongside an equalizer with several presets, customizable touch controls, ability to read notifications aloud and using the “Find My Earbuds” option. In addition, there is a section for noise cancellation that is slightly different from what is seen in Galaxy Buds Live.

However, what makes the Buds Pro different is that it has a voice detect feature which recognizes when you speak and lowers the volume of media for brief conversations. This is something we have seen in Sony earbuds and headphones. Samsung is also said to add left/right sound balance feature for those who have hearing problems.

As for the Spatial Audio feature, this tech is said to create of full surround sound system that can change the detection of the audio based on the direction of your head and the position of the phone. It is being said that Samsung might be able to implement the Spatial Audio feature in Galaxy Buds Pro when they're connected to a Samsung phone running Android 11.

We have already seen the leaked images of the Buds Pro earbuds in past few weeks. However, there is still no word on how much they will cost. For now, it looks like these will come in three colour variants. We can only wait and watch.
