Android 11 beta

Google officially rolled out the first public beta version of Android 11. It is available on Pixel 2 series, Pixel 3 series, Pixel 3a series, and Pixel 4 series smartphones. More smartphones including Oppo Find X2 are likely to follow the suit soon.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook launch

Xiaomi launched Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition and Mi NoteBook 14 series in India today. While the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition will come at a starting price of 54,999, the Mi NoteBook 14 series will come at a starting price of 41,999.

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 launch

Xiaomi today launched the Mi Band 5 in China. It comes with a starting price of CNY (roughly 2,455) for the NFC versions and CNY 189 (roughly 2,025) for the non-NFC variant.

Facebook paid for a tool to hack its own user

Facebook played a key role in the arrest of a man who has been accused of harassing and terrorising young girls and extorting them for nude photos. Facebook paid a security firm to develop a hack that helped the FBI bring the man down.
