It was an eventful day in the world of technology today. On one hand, Samsung launched its Galaxy M31s smartphone in India. On the other hand, Asus launched four new laptops in India.

In addition to this, Reliance Industries Limited announced its quarterly result wherein it revealed that it had added over 15 million new users in the past quarter.

Samsung Galaxy M31s launched in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy M31s in India today. It comes at a starting price of 19,499 and it will go on sale in India via Amazon starting August 6.

Reliance Jio announces Q1 2020 results

Reliance Industries Limited announced quarterly results for Q1 2020. The company said that its profits increased by 182.8% from 891 crores in the first quarter of 2019 to 2,520 crores in the first quarter of 2020. The company also revealed that it had 398.3 million subscribers at the end of June 30, 2020.

Asus announces new laptops

Asus today launched ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, VivoBook 14 and VivoBook Ultra K14 laptops in India. These laptops come at a starting price of 39,990.

Wikipedia asks for donations in India

Wikipedia is asking its users in India to donate funds to keep the site up and running. The company is asking users to donate funds ranging between 150 to 5,000.

Govt restricts colour TV imports in India

The Indian government on Thursday imposed restrictions on the import of colour TV sets in India. The move comes shortly after the country banned 47 China-based apps in the country.
