If you are a word puzzle enthusiast, chances are you have come across some of the popular Wordle alternatives floating around the internet such as Absurdle, Quordle, Nerdle, Worldle etc. These games have surfaced on the back of the immense fame of the word game created by Josh Wardle and acquired by New York Times – Wordle. Sedecordle: The most chaotic Wordle alternative

After almost a year of its existence (265 to be accurate), some people started finding Wordle a bit too easy to play. And thus came Dordle, an elegant yet slightly difficult Wordle alternative where you played 2 word puzzles at once. The gameplay is exactly the same as Wordle except all of your attempts now apply to both the words and you get 7 attempts to guess both the words. But soon even Dordle wasn't challenging enough and so came Quordle, the Wordle spinoff with 4 consecutive puzzles. And then someone released Octordle with 8 consecutive word puzzles, which, just by the description might be overwhelming to some. And now, we have found Sedecordle, the ultimate word puzzle.

Sedecordle, as the name suggests, has 16 word puzzles that you play simultaneously. You get 21 attempts to correctly guess them. The rest of the game is exactly the same as Wordle. But it is when you start playing, you realize that the way to play this game is nothing like Wordle. This Wordle alternative is truly frightening.

Imagine this. As you make word guesses, you also have to note down all the 16 different clues and hints and then come up with the right strategies to eliminate all the possibilities in just 5 chances. And then, you have 16 attempts to guess 16 words. Even one wrong attempt and you are not going to win the game. And perhaps, this is what makes the game so much fun too. But do know that this is not everyone's cup of tea. Only the true veterans of word puzzles will even dare to take on a puzzle this difficult.
