Realme’s latest 5G offering: The Narzo 30 Pro

Realme launched the Realme Narzo 30 series in India today. It consists of the Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the Narzo 30A smartphones.

It was a big day for Realme in India today. The company launched the Realme Narzo 30 series in India. This new smartphone series succeeds the Narzo 20 series smartphones that were launched in India last year and it comprises of two smartphones – Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the vanilla Realme Narzo 30A smartphones. 

Of these two smartphones, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G is the premium budget smartphone and it is available in India in two variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space that costs 16,999 and the other with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant that costs 19,999. 

It will go on sale in India starting 12PM on March 4 via Realme.com, Flipkart.com and select mainline channels in Sword Black and Blade Silver colour variants.

As far as the features are concerned, the newly launched Narzo 30 Pro 5G comes with a 6.5-inch ultra-smooth display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sampling rate. It comes with AG coating and 3D curved design.

Realme's newly launched phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset, which the company says is capable of launching apps 1.4 times faster. This processor is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage variant. 

The Narzo 30 Pro 5G comes with 5G connectivity. It comes with 5G+5G dual SIM dual standby feature. The Narzo 30 Pro 5G also comes with a Smart 5G network optimization technology, which Realme says reduces power consumption by 30%. Realme says that this technique superimposes 5G and Wi-Fi networks, giving speed and stability.

On the camera front, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G comes with a triple rear-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a macro sensor. The phone also supports Cinema Mode that features an ultra-wide ratio of 21:9. Realme says users can manually adjust exposure, white balance, and other shooting parameters, and then edit the video on Realme's SOLOOP app. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Realme says the Narzo 30 Pro 5G comes with a brand-new beauty algorithm that is developed for different genders, different skin types, and different facial shapes and is featured to take selfies that show natural and delicate skin easily.

Lastly, the battery. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge. Realme says this charging technology enables the smartphone to charge to 100% in just 65 minutes.
