Samsung is hosting its second Unpacked event of the year later tonight. It’s titled ‘Galaxy Awesome Unpacked’ and we’re expecting to see the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones. The global debut and India launch will take place at the same time at 8:30 pm IST. The event will be streamed on Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel.

Samsung hasn’t revealed anything about the phones it’s launching but the ‘Awesome’ tag means that it will be from the Galaxy A series, and most likely the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Both phones have shown up in leaks and reports quite often leading up to the launch. Samsung is expected to launch 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.

Based on leaks so far, Galaxy A52 will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It will also support expandable storage up to 1TB. It will sport a quad-camera setup at the rear featuring a 5-megapixel macro sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Galaxy A72 will also come with four rear cameras, and a punch-hole selfie camera. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery, and feature a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display. The smartphone is rumoured to come with flagship features such as 3X optical zoom and 30X space zoom on its quad-camera setup. The combination will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
