Google is planning to unveil a new Nest device in the coming week. The company via a post on its social media handles said that it was planning to unveil ‘something special' on Monday.

“Take a deep breath and prepare. Something special is coming this Monday,” Google Nest wrote in a post on Facebook and Twitter with a four-second video that shows comedian Fred Armisen wearing a white coloured wig and sitting cross-legged in a yoga-esque pose.

While the video doesn't give us a glimpse of what Google's next Nest device would be like, it isn't difficult to guess that the company could unveil its next generation smart speaker, Google Nest, on Monday. XDA Developers' Mishaal Rahman shared a 12-second long video on Twitter. The video shows that the upcoming Google Nest would come with a oblong-ish design that is different from the Google Home smart speaker that was launched back in November 2016. The video also shows that the company's next generation smart speaker will be available in powder blue and pink colour variants.

Alternatively, it is possible that the company shows off a feature that helps users to perform yoga or meditate. However, we will have to wait until Monday to find out the exact details.

Separately, Google is hosting the Google for India event on Monday. The online event that will be live-streamed at 2PM tomorrow will witness the company introducing a bunch of new India-centric products. It will see Alphabet Inc CEO Sundar Pichai, Minister of Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad, and other dignitaries in attendance.
