Google now lets you password-protect your activity page

Your ‘Web and Activity’ page shows all your activities across all Google products and services.

Google has added password protection to your ‘Web and Activity' page which shows all your activities on Google services. This would be a very helpful feature since this page has everything recorded including your Google searches, YouTube watch history, Maps and more. Also, it can be accessed on any device where you've logged in with your Google account.

In addition to showing your activity on Maps, Search and Google Play, it also includes activities on sites, apps and devices that use Google services or your voice and audio recordings. “The activity you keep is used to give you more personalized experiences, like faster searches and more helpful app and content recommendations,” Google explains. You can also manage your activity through this page by manually deleting it or having it automatically deleted.

First spotted by Android Police, this feature will require you to enter a password every time you want to access your Web and Activity page. You can add a password by going to this website, and clicking the ‘Manage My Activity' verification link. Once you're here, select the ‘Require Extra Verification' option, save and enter your password. Google will then ask for verification when you try to view your activity page. It will take you to the Google sign-in page where you can enter the password or verify through a connected Android device.
