Google, after updating the Google Photos app on Android and on iOS, last year had also updated the service's web-based interface. At the time, these changes were restricted to navigational redesign and changes in the Google Photos logo. Now, Google is making more tweaks to the Google Photos for Web.

As per a report by 9To5 Google, Google has introduced a new Explore page in Google Photos for Web, which the publication says is the equivalent of the Search tab that is available in the mobile app. As the name goes, it allows users to search for their photos online.

It features a bunch of carousels, including People, Places, and Things spanning across the screen. There is a View All option that allows users to see everything in the grid view. This page also has navigational links to other features such as Categories and Your Activity among other things.

Apart from the Explore page, Google has also added Favourites to the Library section. It makes it easier and faster for users to star their favourite images and videos.

It is worth mentioning that this update is not available widely yet. So, you might have to wait for a couple of days before you are able to use this feature.
