Google Pixel 3 XL: Unboxing video shows pre-release unit, USB-C Pixel Buds
According to the unboxing video, Google could be shipping the Pixel 3 smartphones with a pair of USB-C headphones.
Google is expected to launch its third-generation Pixel smartphones later this fall. Dubbed Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the smartphones have now been leaked in a new video.
The video posted by a Russian blogger (via Android Police) shows the alleged Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone running the newly-released Android 9 Pie OS. Design wise, the same two-tone colour design is maintained on the Pixel 3 XL. The smartphone is seen with a notch cutout on its 6.7-inch display.
According to the blogger, the smartphone in the video is a pre-release version of the Pixel 3 XL. Along with the smartphone, a pair of USB Type-C headphones are also present in the box. With Google ditching the headphone jack in the Pixel 2 it's assumed that the same will happen this time as well. These headphones could also be the rumoured Pixel Buds.
Some of the specifications revealed in the video include an octa-core Qualcomm processor, presumably Snapdragon 845, and 4GB of RAM.
If the tech giant plans to follow the same launch timeline as its previous iteration of Pixel smartphone generations, then users can expect to an official launch around October 4.
