Google has started rolling out a major change to Google Discover. The company has started rolling out a new heart icon to Google discover.
To give you a quick brief, Google Discover that was formerly known as Feeds is a service that enables users to discover content that is relevant to them. This not only includes news content but also blogs, music and videos.
As per a report by Android Police, Google Discover earlier had an icon with a circle and two lines, one on the top and the other on the bottom next to the hamburger menu. Tapping on this icon would open the More or Less icon box, which would tell Google if users wanted to see, well, more or less of similar content.
Now, the company has started replacing the above-mentioned icon with a new heart icon. This icon turns red when users tap on it. It's similar to the way users like tweets or posts on other social media platforms such as Instagram. This new heart icon, just like the previous icon, informs Google if users want to see more of similar content in their Feed.
While this may not be a major change, it certainly represents a change in approach in terms of the design.
