WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. In the past couple of weeks, reports have detailed a number of features that will be available in the app soon. This week we got to know about features that the Facebook-owned messaging app will be rolling out to its platform in the coming days.

First in line is a feature called catalogue shortcuts. To give you a quick brief, the catalogue shortcuts feature gives users complete access to a business' product catalogue. As per a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has rolled out this feature onto its Android and iOS-based apps. The company has also rolled out this feature to WhatsApp Web and its Desktop-based app. This feature is available with the version 2.2039.9 of WhatsApp's Desktop app.

Another feature in line is the Always Mute button. This button essentially allows users to mute a chat forever. This feature is available on WhatsApp's iOS-based app with version 2.20.110.23. Additionally, this feature is also available on WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp's Desktop-based app.

Lastly, the company has also rolled out new attachment icons on its platform. This update essentially changes the colour and design scheme of its camera and gallery buttons. While the camera icon has pink colour in the background, the gallery icon has a purple-coloured background. Both these icons now look similar to contacts, location and docs icons.
