Donald Trump's message on the protests going on in the US on the death of George Flyod continues to cause trouble for Facebook. Facebook CEO's Mark Zuckerberg's decision to leave Trump's post on the platform has been met with dissent with the employees. Zuckerberg held a meeting with the Facebook employees earlier this week wherein he tried to justify the rationale behind the decision.

Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook penned a letter in support of the Black Lives Matter movement wherein he said that his company needs to do better in this regard. In addition to this, Samsung launched a new A-series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A31 in India today.

Mark Zuckerberg's tense meeting with employees

Facebook CEO's decision to leave Trump's controversial post on its platform led to employees staging a virtual walkout protest. Owing to the dissent among the employees, Zuckerberg held a 90-minute long meeting with the employees, a transcript of which has been leaked online. Here's what he said.

Tim Cook's on racial injustice

Apple CEO Tim Cook penned down a note titled ‘Speaking up on Racism' which was shared on Apple's website. In his note, the Apple CEO expressed his support for the BLM movement while saying that his company needs to do better in this regard.

Google explains its app removing decisions

Google earlier this week removed the Mitron and Remove China Apps apps from the Play Store. Today, the company explained the rationale behind removing these apps. “When apps are allowed to specifically target other apps, it can lead to behavior that we believe is not in the best interest of our community of developers and consumers. We've enforced this policy against other apps in many countries consistently in the past - just as we did here,” Google said in a statement.

Jio subscribers get Disney+ Hotstar VIP Subscription

Reliance Jio today announced that its subscribers will soon get free access to one year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP. The company said that it will share the details of this offer soon.

Samsung Galaxy A31 launched

Samsung today launched a new mid-budget Galaxy A31 smartphone in India. The phone costs 21,999 and it is available for purchase via online and offline channels in India.

Instagram food order sticker

Instagram has partnered with Zomato and Swiggy to launch food order stickers in India. Restaurant owners will be able to use this sticker in their Stories starting today.
