Facebook today temporarily blocked and then unblocked posts with #sikh on Instagram. The company later confirmed that this was done owing to reports of violation of its community guidelines.

Lava kicks off smartphone manufacturing in India

A new report states that Lava Mobile has started manufacturing smartphones for other companies in India. As per a report by ET, Lava Mobiles is in talks to manufacture smartphones for three companies. It is already manufacturing smartphones for HMD Global.

Spotify starts testing Instagram-like stories

Spotify has been spotted testing Instagram stories like feature with popular artists on its streaming service. It is visible on some curated playlists by Spotify, and on its Android and iOS apps.

Google Photos gets an update

Google Photos today rolled out an update to its platform. As a part of this update, Google has introduced new collage designs that will show up in Recent Highlights.
