Get WhatsApp connection for 4 devices at one time soon; all you need to know
WhatsApp multi device support is confirmed to roll out to public beta users within two months. It will allow users to connect their WhatsApp account to four devices at once.
WhatsApp has been testing multi device support for quite some time now. It's expected to be one of the biggest WhatsApp features this year. This feature will allow you to use your WhatsApp account on multiple devices at the same time. We have already seen tests of multi device support, and how the feature will work when it's rolled out. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has now confirmed that multi device support is in testing, and it will be rolled out soon.
This news was confirmed by Zuckerberg along with Will Cathcart in a conversation with WABetaInfo. More details about this feature were also shared. WhatsApp will let you connect your account to four devices at once. You will also be able to use WhatsApp on these linked devices without an active internet connection on the main device. Zuckerberg also added that messages will still be end-to-end encrypted even when WhatsApp is used on multiple devices.
“It's been a big technical challenge to get all your messages and content to sync properly across devices even when your phone battery dies, but we've solved this and we're looking forward to getting it out soon!” Zuckerberg was quoted as saying by WABetaInfo.

As for the roll out, Cathcart said that multi device support will be available to public beta users within two months. This feature will also bring support for WhatsApp on the iPad. Cathcart added that WhatsApp will open up its iOS beta app to more users soon. WhatsApp currently lets you use your account on the web or its desktop app. But you still need to have an active internet connection on the main device. The new feature will solve this problem.
WhatsApp is also planning to roll out disappearing mode and view once feature soon. Disappearing mode will enable disappearing messages on all your WhatsApp chats. View once will let the recipient see photos and videos once before it disappears. Zuckerberg said the company is about to roll out both features.
