All you need to know about Amazfit T-Rex (Huami)

Huami on Friday announced the availability of Amazfit T-Rex in India. Priced at ₹9,999, the smartwatch can be purchased online via Amazon India and the official Amazfit website. You can also buy the T-Rex offline via stores such as Croma, Reliance Digital and Poorvika Mobiles from next week.

Amazfit T-Rex is Huami's new rugged smartwatch. It complies with the US' military standard (MIL-STD-810) quality benchmark and can withstand extreme temperatures as well as damp, salt and any challenging outdoor conditions. Huami claims the smartwatch can survive for two hours under rapid temperature change from -40 to 70℃.

The smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 360x360 pixels resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Huami T-Rex is powered by a 390mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 20 days of battery life. The company claims the smartwatch can deliver up to 66 days of back up in basic mode. It can charge to 100% in up to 2 hours.

The smartwatch comes with a bunch of sensors such as geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, and a 3-axis accelerator. There's also a BioTracker PPG optical heart rate monitor.

The rugged T-Rex smartwatch comes with 5ATM certification, which makes it water-resistant up to 50 meters. It has as many as 14 sports modes. Other basic features of the smartwatch include alarm, reminders and notifications for calls and apps.
