Coming back to the ‘Launch Night In’ event, Google is expected to launch a bunch of new devices at its upcoming event. For starters we all know that the company will be unveiling its next-generation premium budget smartphone, that is, the Pixel 5 smartphone at the event.

Pixel 5

The upcoming Pixel 5 smartphone will be the first 5G-enabled smartphone by the company. It is expected to come with a 6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. An image accidentally shared by Google Japan on Twitter revealed that the phone will be getting a punch-hole display that is stacked towards the left side of the screen, which indicates that Google is planning to ditch its Soli radar chip in Pixel 5.

Coming back to the specs, the phone is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon

765G chipset that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It is expected to get a 16MP + 12MP camera at the back and an 8MP camera in the front. Additionally, it is tipped to get a 4080mAh battery.

Pixel 4a 5G

That said, Pixel 5 is not the only smartphone that Google will be launching tomorrow. The company will also be launching the Pixel 4a 5G, which is the 5G-variant of the budget Pixel 4a that the company announced earlier this year. This phone is tipped to get a 6.2-inch OLED display with a full HD+ display. It is tipped to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor that is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It is tipped to get a 16MP + 12.2MP camera setup at the back and an 8MP camera in the front. In terms of the battery, it is tipped to be powered by a 3,885mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Nest smart speaker and Chromecast

Apart from launching two smartphones, Google is also expected to refresh its line of Nest smart speakers. The new Nest smart speaker is tipped to get a design that is radically different from the way we have known Nest smart speakers until now. It is tipped to get a rectangular design that is covered in fabric. The speaker will have four LEDs in the front. It is tipped to feature support for Google Maps, Spotify, Google Calendar, Philips Hue products among others and be available in Charcoal, Blue and Pink colour variants.

Chromecast with Google TV

Lastly, the company is also expected to launch Chromecast with Google TV at the event. As per the reports, it will run on Android 10 and feature support for 4K HDR. It will also feature support for multiple user accounts and come with the ability to pair up with Bluetooth headphones. It will come with a dedicated remote as well. It is expected to be priced around $49.98.
