Panasonic will offer you free Covid-19 health insurance if you purchase a camera

Panasonic is offering free Covid-19 health insurance up to ₹1 lakh to its customers and sub-dealers in India. For customers, this amount will depend on the cost of the camera that they have purchased.

The Covid-19 cases have crossed the 6.25 lakh mark in India. Amid the present circumstances, Panasonic India is offering free health insurance to its customers who purchase a new camera.

The company in an announcement said that it is offering a free COVID-19 medical insurance to consumers on the purchase of any Panasonic cameras and to all its existing sub-dealers. As a part of the initiative, the company is offering an insurance of up to ₹1 Lakh against Covid-19 to “photographers and videographers who are going above and beyond to report news and capture ceremonies and events during the coronavirus pandemic.

The exact insurance amount will depend on the cost of the camera that a customer has purchased. For instance, the customers who buy a camera that costs less than ₹50,000 will get an insurance coverage worth ₹25,000, while the customers who purchase a camera ranging between ₹50,000 and ₹1,00,00 will get an Insurance coverage worth ₹50,000. Similarly, customers who purchase a camera ranging between ₹1,00,000 and ₹1,50,000 will get an insurance coverage of ₹75,000 while for cameras that cost more than ₹1,50,000, customers will get an insurance coverage worth ₹1,00,000.

This offer is valid on purchases made by consumers between June 9 and August 31 and the insurance policy is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Customers in the age group of 18 to 65 years can avail this offer. As far as the dealers are concerned, Panasonic is offering an insurance coverage worth ₹1 lakh to all its sub-dealers.
