Telegram Messenger gets a major update
Telegram today rolled out a bunch of new features to its platform. The list includes multiple pinned messages, Live Location 2.0, and improved Playlist sharing option. Telegram has also rolled out a new set of stickers and animations themed on Halloween for Android users.
Google's Project Zero discloses Windows 0-day flaw
Google's Project Zero team today released details of a critical vulnerability in Windows. The team revealed that the vulnerability titled CVE-2020-117087 allows hackers to escalate system privileges. Microsoft said that the bug will be fixed by November 10.
Mitron launches Atmanirbhar apps
Makers of the Mitron app today launched Atmanirbhar apps on the Google Play Store in India. This app has a wide variety of homegrown apps from various categories including entertainment, shopping, health and more.
Microsoft Teams gets new features
Microsoft has brought a bunch of new features to its Teams video conferencing platform. The list includes live captions with speaker attribution in Meetings and Calling section, Microsoft Whiteboard read-only mode, and Spotlight Support feature among other things.
Google Stadia Pro gets six new games
Google has announced that the Stadia Store will get six new games in November. The list includes Sniper Elite 4, Risk of Rain 2, The Gardens Between, Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek, Republique and Sundered: Eldritch Edition. These games are available only to Stadia Pro users.
