Rishab Shetty's Kantara has taken the box office by storm ever since it arrived in cinemas on September 30. The Kannada film has earned over ₹100 crore globally. The film was also released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on October 14, and will hit screens in Malayalam this week. The movie has been getting appreciation from all quarters. The film will also release on OTT platforms like other theatrical movies, however, it takes them 35-40 days to arrive on streaming platforms. Know the Kantara OTT release date here.

As per reports, the movie is speculated to arrive on Amazon Prime Video as it is known for having an impressive library of regional movies in various languages.

As far as the OTT release date is concerned, the film Kantara is expected to be released by November 4. The reports suggest that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Ponniyin Selvan will also arrive on Amazon Prime video on the same day.

Meanwhile, the movie has been grabbing applause viewers and popular film stars and directors. Prabhas, Dhanush, Anushka Shetty, as well as filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma have lauded the movie on Twitter. Verma tweeted, "The @Shetty_Rishab destroys the myth in film people that only mega budget films will pull people into theaters… #Kantara will be a major lesson for decades to come." Bahubali star Prabhas wrote, "Watched #Kantara for the second time and what an extraordinary experience it has been! Great concept and a thrilling climax. A must watch film in theatres!!!”

Tami superstar Dhanush too applauded the movie. He wrote, "Kantara… Mind blowing!! A must watch… Rishab Shetty, you should be very proud of yourself. Congratulations hombale films… keep pushing the boundaries. A big hug to all the actors and technicians of the film. God bless.”
