Xbox Series X, Series S launch event set for November 10: Here’s what’s planned

Microsoft will be launching the much-awaited Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S consoles on November 10. But the consoles will not be the only things in focus on that day, the launch event will also include game creators and ‘Let’s Play' segments.

Microsoft has some big plans for November 10. Besides launching much-awaited the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S globally, there's a lot more on the itinerary. The official launch dates were confirmed over the Xbox website and the launch event wil; be kicking off at 10 AM PST (that's 10:30 PM IST) and can be watched live on Xbox's YouTube, on Twitch and on Facebook Gaming pages.

Xbox head Phil Spencer wrote in the announcement that the company will be hosting ‘Let's Play' segments with creators, “showcase special launch highlights from around the globe and harness the power of gaming to raise vital funds for vital causes”.

"Instead of big announcements, we will mark the beginning of a new era by gaming alongside one another. We will take this moment to have some fun and look forward to having you join us,” Spencer added.

There is list of which games and which creators will be a part of the launch event yet but we do know Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla is going to be one of them. Ubisoft has pushed the launch of Assassin's Creed Valhalla ahead to coincide with the new consoles so expect to see some more game play on November 10.

Spencer's announcement also mentions that you will be able to take advantage of 120 fps, faster load times, rich game libraries, cloud gaming etc on both the Xbox Series X and Series S. But these technical features of the new consoles have been in the news for a while now.

Since there are ‘Let's Play' segments and and launch highlights involved. There is really no knowing how long the event itself is going to go on. But expect it to run for a few hours at least.
