Twitter’s Jack Dorsey gets $1.40 salary in nod to old 140-character limit

The conspicuously modest sum, disclosed in a regulatory filing, equals the original character limit for tweets on the company’s social network, a restriction the company scrapped in 2017 to boost user engagement.
Four other Apple executives got bonuses of $4 million, bringing their total pay to about $26.5 million each, including salary and stock awards.
