The star of the show is undoubtedly expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the brand’s next top-tier flagship. The device is all but confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s flagship processor for 2025. As with previous Samsung flagships, a customised "For Galaxy" variant of the chip is likely to be used.
In terms of design, Samsung is reportedly making significant changes. The sharp corners seen on previous models are expected to be replaced with more rounded edges, improving the device's ergonomics. Alongside this, the bezels are likely to be reduced further, paving the way for a larger 6.9-inch screen, an upgrade from the current 6.88-inch display, matching the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to retain its quad-camera setup, including a 200 MP primary sensor, two telephoto lenses, and an ultra-wide shooter.
As for the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus, these devices are also likely to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Reports suggest that their design and sizes will remain similar to the Galaxy S24 lineup, with the S25 featuring a 6.2-inch display and the S25 Plus sporting a 6.7-inch screen. Samsung is rumoured to increase the base RAM this year, with the S25 series starting at 12 GB of RAM. All models are expected to feature ultrasonic fingerprint scanners and run on Android 15, based on One UI.
A fourth model, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, is also rumoured. Reports citing benchmark leaks suggest this device will too be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature 12 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to stand out in the lineup with its sub-7 mm thickness, making it a potential rival to the rumoured iPhone 17 Slim.
