Asus on Wednesday launched its Zenfone 5Z smartphone in India. The smartphone was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in February.Asus Zenfone 5Z starts at ₹29,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM plus 64GB storage. The mid variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will retail at ₹32,999. There’s also a top model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which will be available at ₹36,999. The Zenfone 5Z will be available exclusively via Flipkart with the first sale taking place on July 9. Asus has some launch offers lined up for the Zenfone 5Z. ICICI Bank credit and debit card holders will get discount of ₹3,000 on purchasing the smartphone. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor. For photography, the Zenfone 5Z sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors.There’s an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. The smartphone comes with connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooh 5.0, USB Type-C port, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. On the software front, it runs Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 layered on top.
